who am i?

I'm endlessly curious about the intersection of people, technology, and design. I spend a lot of time thinking about behavioral nudges (What’s the difference between paternalism and coercion?), social proof (Does it matter that four other people are viewing the same pair of shoes as me?), decision-making (What would happen if you had option years for marriages?), and what enables us to challenge the status quo. I ask 'why', digging deeper to uncover nuanced insights that inform decisions. My love of creative problem-solving is rooted in my desire to make things better and make better things.

I am passionate about growing and developing others; I believe in being a thought partner and cheerleader for my people, empowering them to drive results.

I graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in International Economics before teaching for a year in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as a Fulbright Scholar.

Afterwards, I worked as a consultant in Washington, DC for four years. Looking to switch coasts, I moved to Oakland to pursue my MBA at Berkeley Haas and am now settled in the Bay Area.

I’m a passionate plant parent, hot sauce enthusiast and amateur potter.
